Words from the Artist: “I created these frames as a symbol of healing, love, and the life I continue to build after surviving violence. Teal represents me, lavendar represents my daughter, and red represents my son. Each frame has a main color with touches of the other two, reminding me that even when we are apart, we remain connected by love. The butterflies represent transfer-motion, freedom, and becoming.

My story is more than what I survived. I am still growing, creating, loving, and rebuilding. Like a butterfly, I am transforming: me and my children.”
